As a Communications Intern for Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, I was responsible for clearly communicating the governor's agenda and state achievements to constituents across social media platforms while maintaining a consistent style and tone. I began by designing post concepts (including copy and graphics) and then iterating to reach a final version. Through this process, I grew civic engagement by ensuring posts were timely and relevant based on breaking news stories, activity in the state legislature, key anniversaries, and statewide celebrations.
